4 - Stage Filtration System
Ultra Filter Technology
Ultra Filter Technology is a specific type of membrane filtration in which hydrostatic pressure forces a liquid against a semi permeable membrane. Suspended solids & solutes of high molecular weight are retained, while water and low molecular weight solutes pass through the membrane.
STAGE 1: Sediment Filter (Minute Particulate Removal)
- Filters particulate contaminants down to 1 micron in size
STAGE 2: Organic Granular Activated Carbon Pre-Filter
- Removes virtually all organic chemicals
STAGE 3: Ultra Filter
- Used around the world to remove bacteria, cysts, microscopic worms, parasites and otherharmful organisms in addition to removing particles down to 0.1microns in size
STAGE 4: Organic Granular Activated Carbon Post-Filter
- Deodorizes and “polishes” the water to improve its taste.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Does water treated by require boiling? No. Boiling is intended to destroy harmful biological contaminants that maybe present in your drinking water. Once the water runs clear, the filtered water can be used directly for drinking, washing or cooking. 3. What should I do if I have left my system dormant for a few weeks? If your system has been left dormant, turn on the system and rinse the filters for 5 minutes. The system is now ready for regular use again. 4. The water output from the has reduced drastically but it has not reached the recommended time to change? The replacement period is a recommended period only and the actual replacement time will depend on the quality of feed water and the amount of water used. Low quality water can cause the filter to be to be clogged prematurely. Replacing the filters is recommended to improve the water output.
